Limited to only 25 instruments, the Flying Dolphin represents Nik's finest work.
It is a double stained Atlantic Blue Dolphin with an exceptional 1-piece quilted maple top and a nicely flamed Mahogany body.
The Flying Dolphin includes an 85 piece Hand-cut Multi-Inlay made of Abalone, Black Pearl, Mother of Pearl, and Sterling Silver on the top of the body. Body inlays are very unique, and very difficult to build.
Flying Dolphin #6 also has the Brazilian Rosewood package consisting of a solid 2-piece Brazilian Rosewood Neck, Fingerboard, backside cover plate, pickups rings and truss rod cover. This guitar has Nik’s Dolphin inlays in the fretboard position markers. It has 2 Haussel Humbucker Pickups which could be splitted. This one also sports Ebony tuning keys and Gold Hardware.
