These Robben Ford Models were originally based on the Japanese made Esprits Guitars.

Robben Ford wanted a Custom Shop Signature Model for himself.

Eventually, after Ford approved the Design, 3 Variations were built :

the Elite FM (Flame Maple Top)

The Ultra FM (Flamed Maple Top & sound chambers)

and The Ultra SP (Spruce Top & sound chambers)
